Date of Birth:
3 January 1996
I live in Stockholm and 2006 I discovered climbing that today is my big passion in life. I started in a local climbing gym where I even today practice. But when the weather in Sweden allows I always try to climb outdoor and during the spring 2010 I did my first 8a route. I also do competition in sport and boulder climbing. In 2009 I won the Scandinavian Youth Championship in sport and the Swedish Youth Championship in boulder. I knew that it is a huge gap to international level but I do my best to reach that level. Another passion is alpine skiing that I try to do as often I can.
Highlights:
When I won the Youth Championships, climbing at Kalymnos and when I sent my first 8a which I managed to climb In May 2010 and which is called Sator and located at Örnberget outside Stockholm. This made me the youngest Swede to do an 8a outdoor. Sator is a steep route with many long moves between some good holds. I had done some attempt that day and not resting long between them, so I was tired before the last attempt. I started again and climbed through the entire route very well and quickly. I went up to the end and I was quite tired but when I did the crux everything suddenly went right. I made the long moved to the edge and took the hold, I screamed out of joy! But the route is not over, it was still a short slab left that is easy but you have to be concentrated. I clipped the anchor and screamed of joy again. On my way down all the others climbers applauded, thanks! It was so nice to do the route and I just could not stop smiling.
Goals for the Future:
Goals for the future are to develop my climbing in all disciplines and create possibilities to climb abroad and learn from others climbers. It is also important to have fun and of course to do well in school.
