I started climbing at the age of 14 with my Dad, and trad climbed for several years mainly seconding. I started leading more at university and then moved to Sheffield to further my climbing. After a few years of solely trad climbing managing to on-sight E6 and headpoint E8 on both gritstone and limestone I am now focusing on my sport climbing. I first climbed 8a in 2003 and have now climbed over 130 grade 8 routes redpointing up to 8c and on-sighting 8a’s. I have also competed nationally with my best result being 3rd, but prefer to climb outside on rock now.

To redpoint the classic 8c’s in Britain and improve my on-sighting.
