At the age of 15 and after several years of being a cross-country skier, I discovered my passion for climbing during a climbing trip to Southern France. Since then, climbing has taught me a lot about myself, other people and the world.
In 1999, I took part on my first national climbing competition, a little bit later on my first international climbing competition. Since 2004, I have been concentrating on climbing outdoors and am enjoying the freedom which climbing gives to me. In 2009, a dream came true when I managed to make the first female ascent of a route graded 8c in the Frankenjura, "Steinbock". Furthermore, I could repeat boulders up to 8a+.
